During the conference, ETF Robotics had the opportunity to co-organize a special session titled โ€œ๐—œ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—–๐—ผ๐—น๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—–๐—ผ๐—ด๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—ฅ๐—ผ๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐˜๐˜€ ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜‚๐—ณ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐˜๐˜๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด๐˜€โ€, focused on the latest research and industrial practices at the intersection of robotics, AI, and intelligent manufacturing.

The special session was jointly organized by:

โ€ข Tadej Petric, Joลพef Stefan Institute โ€“ Principal Organizer
โ€ข Kosta Jovanovic, University of Belgrade
โ€ข Aljaz Kramberger, University of Southern Denmark
โ€ข Panagiotis Karagiannis, University of Patras
โ€ข Emel Demircan, California State University
โ€ข Yoshikawa Taizo, Honda Research Institute

As part of the session, our team presented the paper:

The paper addresses how cognitive robotics and digital twin technologies can enable more intelligent and flexible processes in house design and fabrication – reducing construction time and costs, while simultaneously supporting workers and enhancing their well-being on construction sites.

This work is a direct outcome of the collaboration between Cosmic and ETF Robotics, demonstrating one of the core goals of our CITADELS – Horizon WIDERA project: strengthening academiaโ€“industry collaboration and increasing the number of high-quality cross-sectoral scientific publications.

We are particularly proud that the first house built using the presented technology by Cosmic has already been realized in California, USA, underscoring how close this research is to real deployment.
