It was a real pleasure to spend time with their team, tour the laboratories, meet the research staff, and learn more about the work they are doing. Beyond the facilities and research capacities, what made this visit especially valuable was the chance to sit together, exchange perspectives, and talk openly about the topics that bring our teams closer. These moments outside formal meetings often say the most. They help us better understand each other’s environments, ways of working, and long-term interests, and that is often where the most meaningful ideas for future collaboration begin. We are thankful to our colleagues at CRTA, especially Marko Švaco, Maja Trstenjak and Antonija Lelas for their warm welcome, generosity, and the inspiring conversations. It was a pleasure to continue building this partnership in person, and we look forward to the projects, ideas, and shared initiatives that may grow from it.

Projects on deep technology https://robot.etf.bg.ac.rs/en-gb/projects-on-deep-technology-2.htm Mon, 02 Mar 2026 12:42:00 +0000 https://robot.etf.bg.ac.rs/?p=17649 Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) are essential for responsible deep tech, because technology doesn’t land in a vacuum, it lands in real workplaces, cultures, and value systems. In our project CITADELS – Horizon WIDERA, SSH research helps us understand and anticipate the human implications of deep tech: how work is organized, how trust is built, how roles and skills evolve, and what “human well-being” should mean in practice. Great to see this spotlight on Corvinus University of Budapest contribution, led by Lilla Vicsek, bringing human-centered insight to the heart of technological innovation.

Celebration of women in STEM https://robot.etf.bg.ac.rs/en-gb/celebration-of-women-in-stem-2.htm Thu, 12 Feb 2026 12:30:00 +0000 https://robot.etf.bg.ac.rs/?p=17630 We are proud to celebrate Anastasija Rakić and her inspiring interdisciplinary research at the intersection of robotics and anthropology. At the same time, Anastasija is not the only outstanding young woman shaping the future of robotics within our community. ✨ Maja Trumic is currently at TU Delft | Mechanical Engineering, leading her 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗦𝗸ł𝗼𝗱𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗸𝗮-𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗠𝗦𝗖𝗔) grant for her project 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁, advancing soft robotics for safe and precise navigation in confined environments.✨ Gorana Milovanović, a PhD candidate at ETF Robotics, is developing a human–machine interface for variable stiffness robotic systems based on myoelectric control and electrotactile feedback — contributing to more intuitive, responsive, and human-centered robotic interaction. For us at ETF Robotics, women in STEM are not a one-day celebration. They are, and must become, the standard of the future. Marking the International Day of Women and Girls in STEM is important. But what matters even more is building systems that continuously support, mentor, and encourage girls from an early age to pursue engineering, science, and research careers. Real gender balance in STEM will not come from symbolic recognition, it will come from consistent opportunities, visible role models, and shared responsibility. We remain committed to strengthening that path through education, […]
