NOTRE | Interreg EUROPE engaging visit to Hub Eurasanté in Lille

It took us a few days to process all the impressions from a truly engaging visit to Hub Eurasanté in Lille, which took place in the last week of June as part of the NOTRE | Interreg EUROPE.

Representing the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering (ETF), Branko Lukić and Jana Veličković joined Dusan Miskulin, CEO of Ovio care, who represented the Serbian start-up ecosystem.

The three-day agenda offered a well-rounded mix of strategic planning and practical learning:

🟡 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭 focused on the partner meeting—an opportunity to reflect on ongoing activities, align on common goals, and plan ahead.

🟡 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮 featured a training led by Global Health Connector on how to turn the NOTRE approach into actionable steps for start-ups and SMEs. The team also visited the HMS-VILGO production site and the 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗹𝗹’𝗔𝗴𝗲𝘀 demonstration facility—two inspiring examples of how innovation and ageing intersect.

🟡 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟯  was marked by “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆”, where Dusan Miskulin contributed insights from the Serbian innovation scene, emphasizing the importance of collaboration across regions and sectors.

With over 90 million seniors in the EU and a high failure rate of new age-tech products, the NOTRE project is working to change the odds—by building a reliable infrastructure that allows companies to test, validate, and scale age-tech solutions in real-world conditions. These types of exchanges are crucial for strengthening international collaboration and ensuring that more ideas make it past the pilot stage and into the hands of those who need them most.
