Dual Robot Industry 4.0 Workstation

The testbed consists of an industrial workststionl equipped with 2 robots, conveyors, PLCs, automated parts storage, sensory and safety equipment accompanied with software for industrial grade and advanced integration. It features typical hardware and software components commonly found in industrial setting enables research and testing in fields of advanced Robotics and AI related technologies including bi-manual handling, IIoT, safety algorithms, and Industry 4.0 in general, as well as PoC and prototype development until TRL 6. The testbed serves not only as a research and testing workstation, but also as an environment for training for the building blocks of Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0.

| Application case: | Short description: |
| ReconCell experiment – Reconfigurable Assembly of Airport Signalization Lights using Collaborative Robots | The PoC was performed prior to application to Reconcell project for a company which produces sub-assemblies for companies related to airport signalization on runways, taxiways, and other places with similar function. The PoC enabled company to apply for the Reconcell and develop and deploy a solution for the automated assembly. |
| ARP – Agile Robotizad Processing | As part of DIH² project, the testbed was used for the initial testing and development of software components for robotized processing of wooden parts. |
| BOWI – Boosting Widening Digital Innovation Hubs | As a result of the project-related activities the testbed was used for showcasing remote access and resource control. |
