🔧 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗕𝗕 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 – 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🤝

Last week, our team had the pleasure of organizing the final round of the 𝗔𝗕𝗕 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 as part of the 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗜 project, hosted in the premises of ABBSrbija, one of the global leaders in industrial robotics.

The organization of the competition was carried out 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 EESTEC LC Belgrade, which has been running the Brand New Engineers project for 15 years—an initiative dedicated to connecting students with industry through hands-on learning and real-world challenges such as ABB Robo challenge.

The winning team will be announced during the upcoming 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗜 𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲, planned for mid-May. This event will bring together companies, researchers, and students—not just to celebrate the results, but to share experiences, challenge one another, and spark new collaborations.

As part of the prize, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼 𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗕𝗕’𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, gaining firsthand insight into the inner workings of one of the world’s leading robotics companies.

Because building a sustainable robotics ecosystem in Southeast Europe doesn’t happen in isolation. It takes connection, openness, and a common belief that we move further when we move together.
