๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐บ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ต ๐๐ผ ๐ฏ๐ญ๐๐ ๐๐๐ด๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ, our students Nikola Ruลพi and Veljko Todiฤ had the chance to join the ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฆ๐๐บ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐น ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฅ๐ผ๐ฏ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐ (๐๐ฅ๐๐ ๐ฆ๐ฎ) in Genova organized by I-RIM Istituto di Robotica e Macchine Intelligenti.
Beyond the lectures from some of the leading voices in robotics โ Arash Ajoudani, Gianluca Palli, Francesco Nori, Antonio Bicchi, and Elena De Momi โ this was a week filled with real exchange: coding, discussing, and learning side by side with peers from across Europe.
For Nikola and Veljko, it wasnโt only about sharpening technical skills. Summer schools like DRIMS2 are also about the friendships built over late-night conversations, the teamwork during exercises, and the small moments of connection that stay long after the program ends.
We hope the knowledge they brought back, and the relationships they built, will continue to grow in the years ahead โ both for them personally and for the robotics community we are proud to be part of.
