At ๐—˜๐—ง๐—™ ๐—ฅ๐—ผ๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐˜€, we are committed to involving young talents in projects that matterโ€”projects that connect science, technology, and sustainability.
As part of the ๐—–๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐—ฐ๐˜‚๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐˜ ๐—ฝ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ท๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜, our undergraduate students Aleksa Gadjanski Bozic and Jovan Bajiฤ‡ focused their final thesis work on developing robotic solutions that support ๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป โ™ป๏ธ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ฏ๐—น๐—ฒ ๐—ฎ๐˜‚๐˜๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ปโ€”domains where Serbia still has significant ground to cover.

๐Ÿ“Œ ๐—”๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ธ๐˜€๐—ฎ ๐—š๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐˜‡๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜€๐—ธ๐—ถ ๐—•๐—ผ๐˜‡๐—ถ๐—ฐ designed a full pipeline for estimating physical damage on objects using depth cameras and machine learning, with the goal of improving robotic interaction in scenarios like waste sorting and quality inspection. His system is real-time, modular, and scalable.

๐Ÿ“Œ ๐—๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—•๐—ฎ๐—ท๐—ถ๐—ฐ explored how deep learning techniques can be used to recognize object shapes in 3D from point cloud data, helping robots make better decisions during grasping operations. His work brings us a step closer to robots that can operate reliably in real-world environments.

These projects highlight the broader mission of Circubot: to bring science and industry together in ๐˜€๐—ผ๐—น๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—น๐—ผ๐—ด๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ป๐—ผ๐—น๐—ผ๐—ด๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—น๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฒ๐˜€, and to ensure that the next generation of engineers learns by doingโ€”on real, relevant problems.
