Within the Interreg Europe project NOTRE | Interreg EUROPE , ETF Robotics was represented in Bologna by Branko Lukiฤ, Marija Noviฤiฤ, and Gorana Milovanoviฤ, joining partners from across Europe for two days of exchange, networking, and hands-on learning ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฐ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ป ๐ถ๐ป๐ป๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐น๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ถ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ (the meeting took place on 18โ19 February 2026).
One of the key stops was DAMA Tecnopolo – Data Manifattura Emilia-Romagna, the heart of the regional Data Valley and a major European infrastructure for supercomputing, Big Data, and AI. A highlight was the visit to the ECMWF (European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts – ECMWF) High Performance Computing facility, a strong reminder of how advanced computing supports real operational needs, from meteorology to climate modelling, and how these capabilities can inspire new approaches in health and care-related innovation.
The programme also included visits to two centres of excellence in health and medical technology:
Arte Ortopedica, specialised in prosthesis design and manufacturing
CER MEDICAL S.R.L., a leading provider of medical gases for healthcare facilities and home care
For our team, the value was in seeing how research capacity, industry know-how, and local stakeholders connect in practice, and bringing those lessons back into our day-to-day work in NOTRE.
